Spring-a-bration…

August 25, 2009

Every morning and afternoon we run madly out the door for the school run, trying desperately to get Taylah to school and pick her up from school on time. I am embarrassed to admit this but I very rarely get Taylah to school on time *blush* I know, it’s really bad and I am sincerely embarrassed. What’s even worse is that I’m very rarely on time to pick her up either *double blush*. But this past week I have worked extra hard to get her to school on time AND to pick her up on time =) I’m proud, oh yes I am, my mummy duties are in check!!! =)

Not only have I been working extra hard on getting my big girl to and from school on time but I have been working on enjoying life, being positive and spending time with my babies! Afterall, they grow way too fast! I know this, it’s Grow’s mantra for a reason but when you get caught up in photography and running a business your focus does get muddled. So stepping back and re-focusing has been amazing for me!

So on our school run each morning and afternoon I have been making sure to enjoy the little things. Like how my two littlest girls spend 5mins picking the same flowers, smelling them and marvelling at how beautiful they are and then they run to me asking for me to place one behind their ears *sigh* and on our way through the school to meet Taylah, no matter how many times they have those flowers behind their ears, every person walking past says how beautiful they are with a big smile.

It’s wonderful to see them enjoy their world so much and I was inspired to capture them and their flowers =)

Aren’t they just adorable *sigh* Even if I do say so myself ;-)

These images are also why Spring (or “sprinter” as I’m calling it! lol!) is one of my FAVE seasons, beautiful light, glorious weather and amazing colours everywhere. You gotta love it!!!
