Inspired

August 6, 2010

My husband finds it quite frustrating to be married to a photographer. You see, I see the world differently than most. I see the world in tones and light and moments. Everywhere I look, I’m always remarking how this or that, or this someone or that gorgeous little girl/boy would look captured. How I would LOVE to take photos of them, or that field would look gorgeous with the girls standing right there in the beautiful afternoon light. He’ll also quite often hear me whisper in his ear while watching TV or a movie, “OMG, that light is GORGEOUS!!”. I guess after 6yrs it would get to be a bit much but for me it’s amazing, I get to view the world in this special beautiful way and I’m grateful for that =)

So we went second hand shopping the other week and as usual he heard those dreaded words “OMG Babe, that chair is PERFECT, I want it! Put $50 on it!!!”. He looked at me with that same expression he always gives me, sort of one that says “What’chu talkin’ about, Willis?” but I begged and pleaded and begged some more and so he did and we got it!!! And I was inspired:
